Random Muttering 7/27/2015 – Moving out and Throwing out

I didn’t know I had so much clutter at home until we moved out last Saturday. This is our sixth time to change address and I am kind of used to moving around by now. However, the last place we stayed in was the longest time we spent in one place so I was really surprised to see how many trinkets, knickknacks and whatnots I have collected.

Even if I told myself that I have to throw out a lot of stuff, it’s still heartbreaking to let go. Like my old books, though most of them came from second hand stores, I just have to keep them around. Some I haven’t even opened yet, others I have failed to finish.

Well as they say, change is the only permanent thing in this world. We have to let go of the old to make way for the new. So along with some treasured mugs, figurines, and papers – I put them in a bag and dumped them in the trash with a heavy heart. I told myself that I am used to this, but really, it’s never really easy.
